Web 2.0's high school reunion
Matt: it would be great if all these web 2.0 companies met up and compared notes
Julianne: romy and michelle's high school reunion!
Matt: Yes! Facebook arrives in a helicopter, like alan cumming in romy and michelle
Julianne: naturally
Matt: Myspace was the football star who is now the guy Springsteen sings about in the beginning of "Glory Days"
Julianne: Bebo showed up, but no one was sure if he was invited. or if he even went to their high school.
Matt: twitter won the lottery and showed up in a ferrari. However no one knows how much he won and if he spent it all, and during the reunion the repo man came and took the ferrari back
Julianne: wolfram alpha was the math genius who no one hears from anymore. and everyone was worried he was gonna shoot up the school anyway
Matt: friendster got addicted to steroids early on. burned out
Julianne: i totally know dudes like that
Matt: Livejournal was the school floozy that no one wants to talk to anymore
Julianne: annnnnd i totally had an LJ
Matt: Flickr married rich, but now he's not doing as well
Julianne: He's stuck in middle management
Matt: LinkedIn is still following all the popular kids around but no one is really sure what he does
Julianne: But he's still rich!
Matt: Skype got married right out of high school
Julianne: ...and is already divorced
Matt: wikipedia is still self absorbed. mainly because there's no escaping a wikipedia hole once you're in it.
Julianne: Wikipedia also gave you lunch for free all through high school, but now he wants back pay
Matt: Techcrunch is the goth kid. He still hates everyone.
